Dave Sokoll

executive director

Dave joined the team in 2019 coming from a decade of managing school kitchens, running food trucks, working in restaurants, and doing all kinds of side gigs he’d love to tell you about. He has spent much of this time sourcing from and working with local farmers and is thrilled to get to do that work on a regional scale.

Diane Jen

director of operations

New to the hub as of 2024, Diane joins OFH with 7+ years of experience ranging from clinical nutrition, quality assurance in airline food manufacturing, and procurement & operational excellence in the mealkit & e-commerce grocery space in Canada.

A recent transplant from Montreal, Diane loves to cook and to explore the local food scene in Cleveland. She believes in the connecting power of food and hopes to empower the local economy and share local gems with the Oberlin Food Hub network.

Pam Bliss

bookkeeper

Pam is Oberlin Food Hub’s resident Bookkeeper! She is married with one daughter, and her two rescue dogs that rule her life! She loves her WFH job, and better yet, her pups like it, too. Prior to working at the Hub, she has experience primarily in hotels and at a call center.

Pam is an avid quilter and loves sewing. She also engages in some hand stitching work like embroidery or EPP.

Marty Mariotti

warehouse

Marty is the other part of the warehouse duo! He is retired after many years in the printing business. Marty has always been interested in food, particularly local food, so when Charly encouraged him to join the Food Hub team, he was excited to accept the offer!

Chris Palmer

driver

Chris is one of the fantastic drivers at Oberlin Food Hub! He has worked with nonprofits for five years and loves to play any role he can in helping all the great people in his Northeast Ohioan community.

Charly Steinbrenner

warehouse

Charlie is an important member of the Warehouse team. He is also officially retired after having worked for 45 years in various types of social work.

Although he never worked in food service, he’s always enjoyed following the comings and goings in the Cleveland restaurant and specialty market scenes. He’s especially liked watching the farm-to-table movement gain in popularity over the past 20-30 years, so he enjoys playing a part in the Oberlin Food Hub business.

As with any job, he says, it's the people who make or break the job, and the people sure do make the job at the Food Hub!

Mike Frye

driver

Mike is a driver with a restaurant background who has been working for OFH since 2020. He is also an actor, playwright, comedian, producer, singer, and probably a few other things.
